- Spratton Manor, 492 Acres, Employed 9. Inherited 49 acres allotted to his forbears under the Enclosures Act. A considerable speculator in land & cattle, often in debt. Overbearing to his disadvantaged brother (Joseph) Anthony whom he thougt to have tried to cheat.
Admitted to Creaton chapel as a dying man,1884. (See also notes of burglary by John Martin, #1047)
Spratton Manor sold in 1884 to Mr. Gulliver, who also bought the Spratton Independent Chapel for [1, 5, 6]
