1.The end of what was until 2000 the Post Office.
2. Johnny Richardson's Family Grocer's store where Ron Bell was employed as a grocer's boy. The shop sold not only groceries, but also hardware and stationery. It was also the Post Office. Before the house became a grocer's shop it was lived in by Mr Charles Tirrell, a tailor. This shop was, until sometime in the 1920s, just a house, as shown on image 1918 (although the 'shop' corner is missing from this picture) from the Partridge set of postcards, supposedly dated 1926.
3. The adjacent warehouse used by the Richardson's
4. The house lived in by Percy Richardson, Johnny's son, who was married to Constance (nee Chandler).
5. The house occupied by Bob Balderson, Ron Bell's uncle
6. Samuel Blundell's Blacksmith Shop (he lived 4 doors down Brixworth Road; both he and his wife had died by 1938, business was transferred to Jack Bowers)
7. The house of Mr and Mrs Bard Leeson
8. Charlie Court's house
9. Mr Bates lived here, followed by Alfie Brawn
10. A wash-house
