Northampton Independent June 8th 1912
The above interesting photo was taken at the Northamptonshire Agricultural Show last week for the "Independent," and shows Mr Moorhouse, the intrepid airman, leaning on his Rolls Royce car with his fiancée, Miss Linda Beatrice Morritt by his side. Their marriage takes place at St. Paul's Knightsbridge, on June 25th at 2.15. At the time the above picture was taken Mr Moorhouse had just returned to the show by motor from Huntingdon, whither he had flown by his monoplane, the same evening. Before ascending he kissed his fiancée and his sister. On his way to Huntingdon he passed over the Yeomanry encampment at Drayton Park, where the men gave him a hearty cheer.
Miss Morritt, who comes of an old Yorkshire country family of Rokeby Park, is an accomplished young lady, and is very fond of outdoor sports, particularly golf.
