May 1912
William Rhodes-Moorhouse was the star turn at the Northamptonshire Agricultural Show at Kettering, which also featured footage of the launch of the doomed Titanic. This is the view of the show from his monoplane.
WRM flew from his home at Spratton the 12 miles to the Kettering show arriving just before 11 am. He had a 'very nice flight' at an altitude of 1500 ft. He had flown over Northampton the previous evening and despite breaking a valve near Wolverton had done the journey from Brooklands to Spratton in 90 minutes
