1984
The main staircase at Broomhill from the sale particulars. This staircase, not the house's original one, was bought by Sir Mervyn Manningham-Buller from Lord Burlington, when he restored Burlington House. The staircase was too large, and surplus banister uprights were used as legs for the window seats in the Library and Drawing Room.
