1919
On the back of one copy of the framed photograph appears the wording:
"Spratton House Working Party" August 1914 to March 1919 Registered as a "Recognised Group" in "Records of County Association" of Northampton. Signed by M.F.C. Bevan
In Doris's draft (Page 5.8) under the Bevans and WW1, "During the First world War the Bevans are said to have made part of Spratton House available as a convalescent home for wounded officers, but no record of this exists."
The photograph was taken on the south side, Yew Tree Lane end, of Spratton House's three cottages (now Mulberry Cottage).
