Although the Roll of Honour in St Andrew's Church, Spratton, states that Thomas served in the Rifle Brigade, we can find no other record to substantiate this. The Arthur family do not seem to have lived in Spratton, but rather in Crick and in Kingsthorpe.
He was not in Spratton for the 1921 census.
