Date not known
14 Yew Tree Lane, when it was thatched. A stone building, probably from late 1600s and of farmhouse quality.
'Mercury' 17 March 1877 reports a disastrous fire in Spratton. This was in the south of the village, on 'a bye road, a continuation of the main street of the village'. To the north was a pub (? the Fir Tree). The way this is described is suggestive of the house where Rachel Baillie lives, the barn being where Linda Fletcher lives, which she says has stone foundations. the article describes this a thatched stone barn, which seems to fit. The gap between the two is described as a gateway, which seems to fit.
