Restoration work costing £32,000 at St. Andrew's Church was funded by a 60% Heritage Lottery Grant. The balance of monies was raised by Friends of St. Andrew's Church from charitable donations and local fund-raising in the village. The scope of the works included renovation of the Victorian porch, repairs to masonry, repair and overhaul of rainwater disposal, re-leading of windows and timber treatment for death watch beetle.
