As part of their fund-raising to provide more facilities for the infants department at the Primary School, the Friends of Spratton School, mainly hardworking mums of pupils, provided a £1 lunch of sausage and mash and baked beans followed by jelly and ice cream. Sauls donated sausages and Troops Greengrocers the potatoes. 'Friends' hopes to raise enough money to purchase a large wooden train and carriage and also a playhouse.
