The research has aimed at recording details of the larger families
resident in Spratton in the 19th century, with references to where they lived, what their
occupations were and their links with other village families over several generations.
Details of sources have been included. The database has been published on a CD priced
£5.
Spratton Family History database has been compiled using the genealogical
software programme Brothers Keeper for Windows (BK6 v 6.1.3). Details about how to
obtain this programme are given on the CD and files may then be copied from the CD onto
your own computer. If you already use another genealogical system, then files may be
transferred using a common file format called GEDCOM - details again appear on the
CD.
